High
Country springs are absolutely breathtaking. We encourage you
to try to come during April-early June to catch the celebrated
wildflowers of our region. A good place to make your first stop
is the Daniel Boone Native Gardens which display many indigenous
plants with labels. It's a great place to become familiar with
the plants before you hike. Grandfather Mountain also has a
plant exhibit inside the Museum and is very instrumental in
the preservation of flora and fauna in our area
