Tickets still available for the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
WILKESBORO, NC: Old Wilkes, Inc. and The Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame (BRMHoF) confirm that tickets are still available for the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony scheduled for Friday June 13 at 8:00pm at The Walker Center located on the campus of Wilkes Community College. The Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame was created in 2006 to recognize and honor musicians and others who have contributed to the special heritage of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tickets are $25 and may be obtained by calling The Walker Center at 336-838-6260 or by website www.walkercenteronline.org.
Charter inductees include: Doc Watson, The Carter Family, Ralph Epperson, Tommy Jarrell, Dolly Parton, Ralph Rinzler, Sam Love Queen, Sr., Wayne Henderson, Earl Scruggs and, David Johnson. Performers scheduled to attend include Frank Bode, T. Michael Coleman, Scott Freeman, Steve Lewis, Mike Seeger, Marc Pruett, Paul Brown, Laurelyn Dossett, Scott Gentry, Jeff Little, R.G. Absher, Tim Surrett, Dale Jett, Teresa Jett, Oscar Harris and Helen White. Mike Cross will serve as emcee. There are a few surprises scheduled for the evening as well however all artists are subject to change.

The Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame will be housed in the Wilkes Heritage Museum in Wilkesboro, NC.
