Ride the ski lift up to the top of Sugar Mountain on Memorial Day Weekend and Friday-Sundays through Labor Day. Take a picnic to enjoy the big views and hike out to the rocky summit. Mountain Bike Park open – riders take the lift up and then race down the trails to repeat.

Bankhead, who is considered to be film’s original “bad girl,” was renowned for her promiscuity and deep sultry voice. Bankhead is asked to dub a single line from her final movie “Die! Die! My Darling!,” in a sound studio. The recording session ends up lasting 8 hours. During which, Tallulah antagonizes the film editor assigned to the job, displaying all of the personality and attitude that she is famous for.

Closing out the season is TANASI, an award-winning Asheville-based “worldgrass” trio uniting three acclaimed roots artists: Billy Cardine on dobro and slide, MerleFest-winning songwriter Anya Hinkle on vocals and guitar, and Mary Lucey (Biscuit Burners, Uncle Earl) on vocals, upright bass, and clawhammer banjo. Recipients of a 2025 National Endowment for the Arts USArtists International Grant, the trio has performed on stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Ryman Auditorium, Bonnaroo, and MerleFest.
